House Church
What is a House Church?
A House Church is group bible study where members of the body meet in homes regularly for teaching, prayer and to do life together.
A typical House Church meeting usually consists of the members getting together and either sharing snacks or a meal together. We usually have some hanging out time to catch up and get to know each other. There is usually a leader led teaching and group discussion/question session over a selected study. The meetings usually end with prayer requests or sharing time.
Why a House Church?
Our purpose is to renew our hearts and minds. We believe in doing life together and a smaller group setting like a house church creates an environment that promotes maturation as a Christian better than just a Sunday service. This environment allows a believer to ask questions and get answers to equip them as a follower of Jesus Christ.
The Leader led discussions are meant to challenge members to get out of their comfort zone and out of the “feed me” mentality and encourage the believer to start reaching other for Christ by equipping them with a greater understanding of the truth and a “serving others” mentality.
